Overview

The estimation and monitoring of the properties of olive trees based on remote sensing facilitate access to information on the state of the tree and allow both local and regional study. In addition, the acquisition of two types of complementary data, namely Sentinel-2 optical imaging and LiDAR ICESar-2 waveforms, in a regular way, will ensure the vegetative growth monitoring, harvest estimation and tree health surveillance.
