The Digital Research Centre of Sfax, was created in July 2012. Its is a public institution whose mission is to conduct research and development activities in the field of information and communication technologies and promote innovation and technology transfer in this field by promoting research results, resources, and expertise. It aims to be at the forefront of technology by conducting applied research focused on innovation. Researches will focus on ICT for online services (e-tourism, e-health, e-government, etc.). Its staff is composed of high skilled senior researchers (university professors) and PhD students in computing and telecommunication. They work to elaborate sophistic solutions and to develop techniques and tools covering recent topics like smart-grids, e-health, smart transportation, e-government, etc...
